Fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a long standing and successful on-shore fashion manufacturing company in a Production Managers position.

The purpose of the role is to oversee all aspects of local production to ensure high quality garments are produced and delivered on time. To manage all functions of the workroom, continuing the theme of a healthy, happy and productive department; managing sampling and production flows to achieve sales targets and deadlines.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a highly skilled team, ensuring highest quality output in the most efficient manner.
• Oversee Sample and “first off” to ensure production work flows seamlessly.
• Cost samples for production.
• Staff training, management and supervision – develop strong team working relationships.
• Maintain and manage a continuous high quality control standard.
• Maintain supplies of consumables – trim requirements.
• Customer liaison and ordering of product.
• Set up Sewing Machines correctly for each style garment/fabrication
• Continuous management of current and future production flow.
• Ensuring sewing machines are maintained effectively to avoid downtime due to machine breakdowns.
• Update production schedules daily, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
