Role Description
Fantastic sought after opportunity to join a successful fashion company based in Tauranga in a patternmaking position. The company’s overarching philosophy has always been to inspire and support women by creating clothing that gives them everyday self-confidence. They achieve this by creating solution-based, elegantly relaxed fashion pieces with an edge. To be successful in your application you will have experience within the industry at an intermediate level. You’ll have a good understanding of the apparel industry and in this role you will hone your patternmaking and design assistant skills. This is a small but dynamic team and a great opportunity to advance your skills around a product you love.
The role
- To work with the Design team to set up detailed and accurate specification sheets for all sample garments and patterns.
- To assist with making new patterns for sampling and update existing styles as required.
- Ensure that all patterns meet the company’s quality standards and golden rules
Requirements
What you’ll need
- Previous experience of pattern making.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A team player with a can-do attitude
You will also need to be super organized, focused and dedicated, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadline.
