Role Description

This up and coming high-end designer label is experiencing exceptional growth and is currently seeking to add a Retail Sales and Customer Care Manager to their small but dynamic team. This label boasts 12 stockists nationwide, a strong ecommerce platform and a studio store adjoined to the workroom. The brand is renowned for classic clean lines and impeccable tailoring with a rock’n’roll sensibility and effortless perfection. They are committed to offering quality product crafted with integrity and their mission is to create thoughtful and timeless clothing of a high-quality. Production is mainly local and they are committed to conservative growth and focus on developing strong long term partnerships to maintain product quality and integrity of their business. We’re looking for that special someone to join their small team to manage everything sales and customer care based across both the studio store and eCommerce.

The Role:

The purpose of this position is to support the Director to grow the brand footprint across all sales channels including wholesale, eCommerce and running the studio store, while maintaining the company’s core values. To be successful in this role, this person must possess a growth mindset, with a keen focus on building an authentic community through the execution of exceptional customer care. They will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and be inherently curious and willing to engage across all areas of the company to achieve business outcomes.

Please also note that this role is Tuesday to Saturday to meet the requirements of the position.

Criteria

To be successful in your application we require a proven track record of sales and customer care, a history of building VIP and loyalty, proficiency using Shopify and possess a natural styling sensibility that aligns with the brand aesthetic. You will be a connector and communicator with a natural ability to build community using authentic and inspiring communication strategies to bring stakeholders along on the journey.

Not essential to your background but would be welcomed is experience writing fashion related copy (garment descriptions, seasonal releases etc), experience in social media and graphic design capabilities.

Being a tight team, the role will also require input across the business, so we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and turn their hand to workroom assistant duties too. This could be your step across from retail to head office / workroom, with the opportunity to grow into your areas of interest.
