Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their Auckland office. This role involves significant client interaction, proactive business development, and leading a team of account managers to enhance their market presence and achieve strategic goals. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for market intelligence, strategy development and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Strategy and Client Acquisition:

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis.
  • Identify potential clients and develop targeted strategies to capture new business opportunities.
  • Implement market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends and inform strategic decisions.

Client Relationship and Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering custom uniform solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Sales Target and Performance Analysis:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Provide detailed reports on progress and market trends to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development in the corporate apparel industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management and contract negotiation.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a persistent approach to achieving business goals.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of adjusting strategies to meet changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
