Fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail operations manager

We are seeking an experienced Head of Retail for this premium and iconic women’s streetwear brand, developed and sold exclusively throughout New Zealand in their retail stores. In this role you will be responsible for recruitment, training, and ensuring sales and margin targets are achieved, overseeing all aspects of the retail business operations. To achieve your goals, you will have the ability to work autonomously but will be ultimately responsible to the General Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Achievement of sales and margin targets, working in conjunction with the buyer.

Development of sales team through training, motivation, coaching to achieve profitable results

Maintain and up-to-date retail manual with store policies and procedures

Recruitment of all new retail staff, prepare contracts, induction packs, and training

Be experienced in all Employment Law matters

Produce timely and accurate reports with achievable recommendations for new and improved strategies

Manage the growth of each stores’ customer loyalty programme
