Textile fabric cutting is a rare skill and so are the available roles - this is an exciting opportunity for a Cutter to join a vibrant textile company in a contract role with the opportunity to go full time.

Textile Cutter / Fabric Sample Maker
About the business
Our company, which has been around for over 20 years, is a niche-manufacturer of sampling kits for some of Australasia's largest textile and flooring wholesalers. Our samples end up in customers' showrooms in New Zealand, Australia and beyond. We have also recently developed a range of beautiful homeware products.
About the role
We are looking for fabric cutters prepared to work on a contract / temporary basis or part-time. Hours are negotiable. This may lead to a full-time role.

Responsibilities and Skills:
- Fabric cutting and general fabric sample making e.g. folding, labelling, collating.
Requirements
Essential Attributes:
- Proven experience at fabric cutting / pattern cutting.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work diligently and meet quality and production standards.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Be physically fit.
- Strong references
The successful applicant must be able to work in New Zealand and communicate well in English. He/she must be able to manage his/her own time well and be willing to be accountable for it.
