This is a dynamic fast paced role within a Multi-channelled Company specialising in fashion accessories. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will have the key responsibility to enable the sales growth of the company through the management and continual improvement of the production, supply chain, demand planning and stock management processes. You will develop and manage a highly efficient supply chain, ensuring raw material purchasing, stock levels, sales forecasts and distribution requirements are aligned to enable higher sales with improved gross margin through well planned production, inventory and critical date/gate plan management.

Working with an International supplier base, you will build key relationships to manage costs and develop a highly efficient supply chain from Finished Samples through to final delivery of product to international customer base, vertical retail boutiques and concession stores, optimising the financial objectives of the company and delivering agreed customer service levels.

Your expertise and experience in Production, Supply Chain and Operations Management will allow you to deliver profitable, sustainable and ethical solutions throughout the supply chain process.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Supply Chain: Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy including Production, Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management & Distribution related functions for the organization, developing annual plans, budgets including prioritisation and resourcing

· Production Management: Manage the handover from design to production, ensuring specifications are correct and accurate, work with the Creative Director in a team environment to optimise vision and style of designs into finished goods. Lead selection of strategic sourcing/procurement, manage all raw materials every season, including counter sourcing, procurement, negotiation, lead times, delivery date management, consumption, stock levels, storage and stocktake

· Demand Planning: Manage the sales and operations planning process including supply / demand forecasting, inventory management, purchase order management and on time delivery. Work with Head of Consumer Channels, Marketing and other internal teams ensuring accurate and up-to date sales forecasts are in place to maximize the best balance of sales, availability and inventory management. Propose and develop assortment plans in line with the global strategy monitoring and analysing current trends in the marketplace driving value-add insights into the business e.g. style analysis, sell-through, etc

· Lead the Team: Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of supply chain staff

Requirements

You will have the following attributes and experience:

  • Advanced experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management, ideally with multi-channelled companies
  • Experience in Production Management, Demand Planning, sourcing, procurements, inventory management, negotiation
  • Ability to understand the company global strategy monitoring and analysing current marketplace trends, driving value-add insights into the business e.g. style analysis, sell-through
  • Team Management experience, strong communication skills.

You will be able to communicate complex information and will be an analytical problem solver with commercial acumen. Ideally you will have a qualification in business, statistics, mathematics or similar experience in merchandise planning within the fashion industry. You must have advanced computer competence and exceptional relationship management skills.
