A great opportunity for a senior Lectra Patternmaker to join vibrant team
Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Lectra Patternmaker to join our client’s large leading apparel company, this is a fantastic opportunity to use your extensive experience in pattern making and garment construction to help create a variety of garments for this reputable company, through effective coordination of product development, pattern-making, garment sampling and the maintenance of garment specifications.
Some Key Responsibilities include:
- To action product development requests
- Set up and catalogue detailed and accurate specification and model sheets for all sample garments and patterns.
- Digitize and grade flat patterns or garments, create new patterns for sampling and also update existing styles as required.
- Ensure that all patterns meet the companies quality standards and that correct grading formulae are used
- Coordinate the production of accurate sample garments and their costings
Requirements
Competencies required:
- Advanced competency in Lectra patternmaking is essential
- Tertiary level qualification related to fashion/garment design
- Strong communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, planning and project management skills to ensure samples and ranges available are accurate, on time and to appropriate standards
Computer skills in Excel and Word are required
