Role Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Merchandise Assistant to join their well established and successful apparel company. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your years of experience in an apparel offshore production supply house and further your career working for a fantastic company in great team environment.
In this challenging role you will be responsible for some garment specifications, clients support, assisting the merchandiser in the coordination of garments for production, ensuring goods are processed, dispatched and received on time to the correct fit and quality standards.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Building strong relationships with customers and gaining a good understanding of their requirements and needs, adivising on styling and fits
- Assisting in day to day off-shore production requirements keeping customers and suppliers fully informed
- Assisting merchandisers with spec's and fits as required to reduce their workload and to further learn other areas of the merchandising role
- Undertake correspondence and communication to ensure production meets delivery requirements and customer expectations

Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience within the fashion industry including technical knowledge around spec's and fits. You will also have strong communication skills and initiative along with excellent computer and organisation skills. You will be a proactive and enthusiastic team player who enjoys a fast paced environment and thrives on results, with a methodical approach and great attention to detail.
