Sales Support - Textiles
A rare opportunity to join a NZ textile company in International Sales Support with a view to grow your career.
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced sales support candidate with a fashion/apparel or textile background to come on board with this well-known Textile company. In this role you will be providing essential support to both customers and the sales team ensuring that the input management of customer order requirements is undertaken in a structured and timely manner, dealing with suppliers and off-shore production. Working with the International Account Managers you will be a key point of contact. As you will deal with an extensive and diverse clientele you will need to have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
In addition to the above you will also be required to:
- Ensure all sales orders are actioned in a timely manner and monitored for on-time delivery.
- To assist with marketing activities, implementing initiatives as required.
- To assist with customer-specific product development programmes as required.
Requirements
This is a sales support and administrative role, however there is potential to for career advancement to International Sales within this progressive company. Ideally you will also have some textile knowledge or experience. Your eye for detail and advanced skills in Word and Excel will be put to use producing and maintaining accurate record and reports assisting the above departments in maintaining and growing existing markets and uncovering new opportunities. Your motivation, reliability and can-do attitude will ensure your success in this position.
