Role Description

Our client is seeking an outstanding Sales Manager to join their successful apparel company. In this challenging and rewarding sales role you would be responsible for the sales, planning, development and support of all uniform sales and processing. Managing the customer base, offering exceptional service and, in conjunction with Head of Marketing seeking out new business opportunities.


  • Achieving sales and margin targets. Responsible for leading all client work through the company, liaising with the production and warehouse teams ensuring flawless execution.
  • Customer relationships. Identify & engage with potential new customers, working with them to understand their needs and creating solutions to meet business critical deadlines.
  • Maintaining and managing all budget requirements. Oversee monthly budgets, creating strategies to meet these budgets.
  • Participating in open and effective communication with your team and colleagues.
  • Timely and accurate Weekly, monthly & quarterly sales reporting.
  • Ensuring all orders are received accurately and on time.
  • Stock levels are managed and accurate.
  • Make purchasing decisions in order to meet sales budgets and manage cash flow.



  • A successful track record of managing complex integrated projects in the apparel sector.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and delegate effectively.
  • Passion for delivering business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of planning systems in order to make business decisions.
  • Excellent client facing and sales skills in the apparel industry with the ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This role requires someone who is confident in sales, is strategic with great communication skills and commercial acumen in order to achieve sales and margin targets. You will be working to tight critical path deadlines which will require your methodical approach, good time management and organisation skills along with your excellent attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy with the ability to generate creative solutions to problems in a timely manner. You will be working with a passionate team with experience in wholesaling and distributing apparel product throughout NZ.
