Role Description

This is an outstanding opportunity to join this leading women’s wear designer brand. We are looking for an experienced Off-Shore Production Manager; someone who has a thorough understanding and experience in off-shore production– has a love of fashion, and a passion, dedication, and work drive that matches no other. With your experience you will know what it’s like to work trans-seasonally and to customer requirements and production deadlines. To be successful in your application you will require a minimum of 5 years off-shore production management experience.

The role:

Plan and Manage off-shore production

  • Manage the Production to the critical path providing regular updates.
  • Continuously seek improvement to the production process.
  • Advise the business on process and management changes to improve the overall production process.

Manage factory relationships to ensure exceptional outcomes

  • Ensure effective communication and preparation for all product handovers.
  • Ensure timely and effective feedback on production.
  • Ensure all faults are worked through with factories for the best long term outcome.

Work within Processes and Systems

  • Work with the Production WIP, Booking documents etc to deliver effective record keeping and communication.
  • Work within EXO where required.

Advise on design improvements to deliver GP gains

  • Advise on fabrication and techniques to reduce overall COG’s.
  • Liaise with Designers and Garment Techs through design process to ensure maximization of GP.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Passion – the love of production and an innate understanding of the fast moving production process.
  • A hard working and positive attitude.

You will also need to be highly organised, focused and dedicated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a team and to deadlines. Our team works hard to be the best and we have a good time while we do it. Your strong administration, negotiating and computer skills are essential in maintaining all production ensuring it meets an agreed DIFOTIS measure delivering the best product for the business.
