Our client is one of the top New Zealand streetwear companies and is seeking a Production Coordinator star to join their dedicated team. This is a highly administrative position with a focus on systems and process and the successful applicant will have a dedication to team support.
The Role:
Processes and Systems
- Responsible for building and maintaining Styles in EXO
- Producing Order Pads and distributing in a timely manner.
- Picking and Allocation of Blank stock.
- Raise/upload and issue Purchase Orders following Booking, in line with the Critical Path.
- Ownership of the WIP – management & maintenance; including Purchasing, Tracking, Shipping and Inwards information.
Shipping & Logistics
- Responsible for all Inwards Shipping – H/O follow-up, F/F Booking Approval, Vessel selection, Document procurement and Tracking, in line with the Critical Path.
- Responsible for all Inwards Warehousing – raising IGs, Inwards notifications issued to warehouses, Receipting finished product into EXO.
Production sign off and support
- Support the team in the handover of SMS to Production.
- Maintain the SMS, PP and SS racks.
- Support the Production team where needed.
Requirements
You will have the following abilities:
- Excellent time management & organisation skills.
- Easy going and confident personality with initiative and good communication skills.
- Able to multi-task with great attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer skills – MS word, outlook & excel including DIFOTIS
- High level of knowledge of garment construction, patterns and textiles.
- Experience dealing with off-shore production from Asia and India
