Role Description
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Huffer team. We are looking for an Intermediate Merchandise Controller, someone who brings their ‘A’ game every time – has a love of the Streetwear market and a passion, dedication, and work drive that matches no other. With your experience you will know what it’s like to work trans-seasonally and to customer requirements and production deadlines. To be successful in your application you will require a minimum of 3 years off-shore production experience.
The role:
- To be part of a strong team managing the off-shore production of garment orders, ensuring deliveries are timely and accurate.
- Tracking the critical path and dealing with any likely problems in the delivery process.
- You will communicate and negotiate effectively between customers and suppliers as well as keep managers and colleagues informed on the overall fabric, garment and delivery information.
- Collate styles and sample approvals and make certain of quality control and product timelines.
- Manage the shipping component of your production
Requirements

You will also need to be highly organised, focused and dedicated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a team and to deadlines. Our team works hard to be the best and we have a good time while we do it. Your strong administration, negotiating and computer skills are essential in maintaining the sales and purchase orders and collating data and reports. This is a fantastic role for an experienced candidate who is ready for a new challenge and wanting to work for a dynamic and successful company.
