Role Description

Our client is one of NZ’s iconic and premium menswear brands and they are currently seeking a Marketing Co-ordinator to join their busy and dedicated team. You will have at least 3 - 5 years marketing experience and ideally be a Marketing or Communications graduate. You must have experience with E-Commerce platforms, Photography, Social Media, Strategic Planning, Writing and all parts of the marketing mix. The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills and an interest in fashion and the various elements that make up this wonderful industry. The purpose of the role is to work with the Sales and Marketing Director to develop, drive and implement marketing strategies that produce maximum sales, consistent results and a sustainable commercial return

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Management on all marketing and communications for the company.
  • Manage all in house photography to be used for the development of WS website and product pre-release and style set up.
  • Act as a conduit to the design team by attending weekly meetings – ensuring product deliveries to tie into the marketing plan.
  • Fortnightly Sharpeners – Produce, organise and write content.
  • Writing – to develop writing skills to be able to brief senior writers or publish directly.
  • Seasonal collection shoots – produce, organise talent, brief photographer.
  • Monitor Google Analytics.
  • Social media – All relevant social media, setting up company Facebook profile maintenance and strategy.
  • Assist Management with marketing strategic plan, annual marketing plan & annual advertising budget.
  • Compile a content plan for all marketing channels consisting of 10,000-20,000 words.
  • In conjunction with Management plan and execute Brand Campaigns.

  • Initiate regular communication with the Directors, to ensure you are fully briefed and able to disseminate timely information to the team when necessary.
  • To keep abreast of industry trends and ensure design inspiration is maintained and regularly refreshed.

You must be able to use Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, Mailchimp or similar and have an interest in photography. You must be slick with file management systems and devices within and connected to our network.
