Role Description

Our client is seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Manager to join their successful apparel manufacturing company for a fixed term of one year. The purpose of this challenging and rewarding role is to ensure sales and margin budgets are met through effective customer service; to manage the warehouse stock holding and inventory systems in support of the sales processes.


  • Provide highly effective customer service and dispatch orders according to business-critical deadlines.
  • Ensure warehouse stock holding is accurate at all times.
  • Ensure the warehouse is effectively managed in line with company procedures, including warehouse maintenance and organisation.
  • Accurately check all incoming stock for shortages and damage.
  • Process all freight invoices within the month ensuring all charges reconcile for relevant customers.
  • Process customer returns, ensuring customer service standards are upheld with faulty communication.
  • Organise and perform stock takes, both rolling & quarterly.
  • Act as the warehouse health & safety officer.
  • Set up new customer accounts and ensure correct styles are loaded against their account.
  • Oversee the garment fitting and alteration service.
  • Arrange and attend regular catch ups with all stakeholders to ensure seamless communication at all times.
  • Ensure seamless stock & customer information with accounting software.



  • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, efficient, and with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strategic stock management.
  • Advanced computing skills.
  • Experience within the apparel industry.

This role requires someone who is confident in customer service and warehousing with great communication skills. You will be working to tight critical path deadlines which will require your methodical approach, good time management and organisation skills along with your excellent attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy. You will be working with a passionate team experienced in wholesaling and distributing apparel product throughout NZ.
