An excellent opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer with Streetwear experience to join the dynamic Huffer team
Role Description
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Huffer Design team. We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who will be the overall lead on Graphic direction delivery, through brand enhancing and communication initiatives. This will include on-brand visual presentation and responsibility for all creative communications for the Huffer brand across all mediums.
We are looking for someone who brings their 'A' game every time – has an eye for the streetwear market and passion, dedication and work drive that matches no other. To be successful in your application you will require proven commercial experience of 7 years plus along with an innate understanding of the Huffer brand aesthetic and a maturity to lead the direction of the brand into the next phase of our growth.
The role:
- Strategic Brand Planning – in conjunction with the Brand Director and Marketing Manager contribute to the long term visual direction of the brand.
- Develop campaign strategies for all products including seasonal, injection and Staples to enhance the Brand.
- Responsible for all creative communications and delivery including lookbooks, Website, Social Media instore and wholesale material
- Lead the representation of Huffer across garment print design and execution in conjunction with the Clothing Designers and Brand Director.
- Commercial acumen – we are now a business not just a brand – we need you to be part of the team to drive the commerciality we have created and be on our journey to deliver NZ creativity to the world.
Requirements
What you'll need:
- Leadership – to work with the Brand Director and Founder of Huffer to elevate and inspire.
- Passion – the love of street wear and an innate understanding of Huffer
- A hard working attitude – a small team commands hard working greatness!
- Commercial focus – knowing what's going to work in the market place to grow the Huffer brand.
- A positive attitude - the 'yes I'll give it a go' goes a long way in our business.
- Creativity and maturity - to push the boundaries within the brand boundaries and to always be looking for more!
- Advanced skills in Illustrator or InDesign programmes.
This is not just a Graphic Design role; it is a creative role also in the Graphic output space.
You will also need to be highly organised, focused, and dedicated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a team and to deadlines. Our team works hard to be the best and we have a good time while we do it.
