Role Description
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Garment Tech to join one of New Zealand's leading fashion retailers.
This is no ordinary Garment Tech role – we are looking for an experienced Garment Tech who will bring their 'A' game every time, and a passion, dedication and work drive that matches no other.
You will be joining a great team who relies heavily on one another to deliver outstanding results. This role is integral to the design team and will work closely with Design, Sourcing and Production. With your strong communication skills and technical garment knowledge you will be completing garment spec's and sample prototypes, utilizing your experience in specifications, grading and garment fits.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- 5+ years proven experience working in a garment tech role for off-shore production.
- A thorough understanding of garment construction, fabric and Fit
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience at working with offshore manufacturers.·
Requirements
You will also be prized for:
- The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Flexible with a great attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and energized with the ability to self-manage and make considered decisions.
- Competent skills in Illustrator or InDesign.
