Role Description
This is a great opportunity for an intermediate Garment Tech to join the Huffer team. The successful applicant will have at least 4 years experience in this role with an eye for street wear and a passion, dedication and work drive that matches no other. Huffers’ team is full of stars and they need another star to join them on the ride.
This role is integral to Huffers’ design team and will work closely with the Head of Women’s Design and Production. With your strong communication skills and technical garment knowledge you will be completing garment spec’s and sample prototypes, utilizing your experience in specifications, grading and garment fits.
The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to draw using computer software.
- Relevant qualifications and experience with spec’s.
- Excellent communication skills, including liaison with off-shore production.
- Ability to complete and problem solve garment specifications.
- Time management skills and ability to multi task.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Passion – the love of Huffer and Streetwear.
- 4+ years Garment Tech experience.
- Someone who is hardworking – a small team commands greatness.
- A positive attitude – the ‘yes I’ll give it a go’ goes a long way in Huffer's business.
- Competent skills in Illustrator or InDesign.
