Fashion Product Development Coordinator
A great opportunity for an apparel graduate with 1-2 years experience to join local production for a highly regarded retailer and High Fashion Brand
Role Description
Our client is a successful high fashion retailer; they are seeking an experienced fashion tertiary qualified candidate with an excellent understanding of apparel onshore production to take on this varied role where you will be monitoring the sampling and production process; ensuring a high level of quality and delivery deadlines are met.
The role:
- Research based on the senior Designer’s brief for each season
- Print manipulation and development
- Effective management or the collections’ critical path ensuring deadlines are met
- Specifying and researching trims and ordering fabric sample
- Assisting Patternmaking draping and mock-up toile construction
- Hand drawings and technical drawings
- Involvement in Photoshoots for each collection and preparation of lookbook
Requirements
You will have one or two years in the fashion industry with experience in Photoshop and Illustrator and will be used to meeting deadlines and taking care of all the details. You would like a new challenge now, a great role that will utilise the knowledge and experience you’ve gained and allow you to grow and develop.
You’ll utilise your admin and organisational skills, liaise directly with the Designer, suppliers, and clients. You’ll be part of a dynamic team in a well established branded company.
