Role Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Store Manager for their retail store which stocks knitwear and woven’s for their iconic NZ label. This is a great opportunity to take charge of a role and take full responsibility of the business managing all aspects of the store function.
Your love of fashion will be reflected in your dealings with customers. You will have a warm and approachable personality combined with a strong background in retail sales and a good understanding of MYOB Retail Manager system. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Coaching and giving feedback to team members
- Building relationships with customers
- Being the key contact for current suppliers, discussing new seasons and stock orders with the business owner
- Shop displays and Visual Merchandising Managing the stock ordering system, analysing current stock levels and previous sale trends
- Overseeing the stock taking process and store security
- Payroll, rosters and staff recruitment
Requirements
The successful candidate will be very strong on retail, experienced in driving sales, leading a team with a very good eye for visual merchandising and continuously maintain a high level of presentation within the store.
