Fashion Accounts & Product Development Manager

Role Description
Our client is a leading developer of fashion garments, supplying to major retailers throughout Australasia. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager with product development experience to contribute to their on-going success. The successful applicant will be experienced in building strong client relationships, developing fashion forward garments and managing the relationship with their clients to achieve budgeted sales.
Some Key Responsibilities will include:
- All aspects of your customers’ service to scope out opportunities and presentation of new product
- Garment development, fabric sourcing, costings and order placement
- Planning the of budgets, sales and margins
- Liaison with internal staff members in regards to off-shore production and time-lines
- Approval of fabrics, trims, garment fit and quality
- To initiate and monitor design work with graphic artist
Requirements
Key Attributes
- Account management experience with budget targets (3-5years min)
- Selling/Range Presentation experience
- Product development Experience
- Production coordinating or management experience
- Worked with NZ retailers essential. TWL/FTC/Ezibuy etc (wholesalers/corporate/online retail experience would be a bonus)
- Positive outlook and self-motivated
