Role Description

This dynamic and growing on-line retail company is seeking a BDM to add to their growing team and business. Your background experience will be in Home wares and you will need to be sales driven with strong business acumen. Your complete understanding of the home wares market will serve you well with the requirement of having an eye for developing business opportunities.

The Key responsibilities to this role are:

  • Manage a variety of brand accounts and sales workflow
  • Liaise with each brand account regularly to book in sale features as consistent as every 6 weeks
  • Find and contact new brands, designers or distributors in a variety of home wares categories to be featured
  • Negotiate the best price to achieve margins and the best sell through of product
  • Build relationships with multiple designer and brand representatives
  • Make bulk buying decisions at the best prices and best product for Members
  • Manage sale workflow for individual brands and clearly communicate their requirements and sale timeline
  • Work with the team to assist with sales upload, Contribute to PR/Marketing strategies, continually seeking to achieve set KPI’s


This exciting role requires a positive attitude and excellent proven buying, sales and communications skills. You will have a great eye for trends across a broad product range of home wares. With solid computing skills you will also be familiar with web admin and most importantly, you will thrive in a busy and collaborative team environment.
